Michael Jackson's mother will get permanent custody of his three children in a deal that quashes what was expected to be a bitter battle.

No money was exchanged in the deal, the statement said.
"The timing, frequency and manner of visits shall be implemented according to the best interests of the children, as determined by a child psychologist selected jointly," the release stated.
The agreement over the custody of Prince Michael, 12, and Paris, 11, follows several weeks of negotiations between the two sides and mixed signals sent by Rowe.
In the end, both factions signaled they were delighted with the agreement.
"Mrs. Jackson and the family are pleased this matter is resolved and was handled in a caring, thoughtful and courteous manner by the parties and their representatives," Katherine Jackson's lawyers, L. Londell McMillan and Diane Goodman, said.
"We were all united in our goals to do what is best for Michael's wonderful children, and both Mrs. Jackson and Debbie Rowe were on the exact same page."Eric George, Rowe's lawyer, called the deal a "dignified outcome."
On June 29, a Los Angeles court named Katherine Jackson, 79, temporary guardian of the children. Since then, the kids have been staying with her at the Jackson family home in Encino, Calif.
Rowe, who was married to Jackson from 1996 to 1999, signed away her parental rights to her two children in 2001, describing Jackson as a "wonderful man... a brilliant father."
Michael Jackson's Three Children
A Los Angeles judge reversed the order in 2004 after Rowe cited concerns over Jackson's prosecution for child molestation. Rowe later settled the case, reportedly securing visitation rights.Jackson's third child, Prince Michael II, 7, was born to an unidentified surrogate mother.
